All engines sold by NRB are inspected before being placed into stock.
As these are used components, installation by a qualified mechanic or specialized workshop is strongly recommended.
Before installation and operation of any purchased engine, it is recommended to:
Replace the complete timing belt or timing chain kit;
Replace the water pump where applicable;
Replace the oil filter;
Use new oil according to the manufacturer's specifications;
Inspect all associated peripheral components.
Customers are also advised to retain invoices, photographs, and any documentation related to these operations.
Failure to follow these recommendations may affect the assessment and validation of future warranty claims related to engine performance.
Engines are supplied without lubricating oil in accordance with environmental procedures applicable to End-of-Life Vehicle dismantling facilities.
9. Warranties
Products sold by NRB are covered by the warranties applicable under Portuguese law.
Engines are supplied with a 90-day commercial warranty unless otherwise stated in the product description.
Other parts may be subject to specific warranty conditions, and customers should consult the product description or contact the company before purchase.
The warranty does not cover:
Improper or negligent use;
Incorrect installation;
Lack of maintenance;
Unauthorized modifications or dismantling;
Use for purposes other than those intended;
Damage caused by external factors, accidents, or normal wear and tear.
The company may require supporting documentation proving correct installation and use before assessing any warranty claim.
10. Delivery and Shipping
Deliveries are carried out through partner carriers or by collection at the company’s premises.
Estimated delivery times are indicative only and may vary due to circumstances beyond the company's control, including logistical delays, adverse weather conditions, or carrier-related issues.
If shipping costs cannot be calculated automatically, the customer will be informed before dispatch.
The risk of loss or damage to the products transfers to the customer upon delivery.
11. Right of Withdrawal and Returns
